Damian Feeney comes from Thornton Cleveleys in Lancashire, and was educated locally and at Durham University. After eight years teaching music he entered ordination training at Chichester Theological College and was ordained as a deacon in 1994, and as a priest in 1995. He has served in parishes in Harrogate and in the Preston area, as well as undertaking church planting and mission work. From 2009 to 2015 he served as Vice-Principal and Director of Pastoral Studies at St. Stephen’s House, a Permanent Private Hall of Oxford University and one of the Church of England’s Theological Colleges.
In May 2015 he took up a new post as Parish Priest at Holy Trinity Ettingshall, in Wolverhampton, and Mission Advisor to the Catholic parishes of the Diocese of Lichfield. In October 2015 he was elected as a member of the Church of England’s General Synod.
He is married to Fiona, a Primary School Headteacher based in Wolverhampton, (pictured above) and they have three grown up children.
He is keen on music, fine arts, sport, films, reading, current affairs, food and drink.
He is a passionate supporter of Blackpool Football Club, and is a season ticket rebel, having vowed not to pay a penny more to the Oyston family.

We trust you and your family are well. Jack and Isla have both had chicken pox and are well on the road to full recovery. Jack has had his meeting with his future primary school teacher at St Michaels. It just makes you wonder where the time goes. Catherine says “roll on september”. Hannah and Tony are expecting a happy event in November and are moving back to my Dads converted barn at Catforth.

22nd May was certainly a day I’ll never forget! To be part of that size of crowd, and to come through and gain a place in the Premier League – all our dreams at once, it would appear! Can’t believe Jack is starting school…..hope they are both ok. Really pleased to hear about Hannah and Tony’s good news! All is well here, if ludicrously busy. Looking forward to 52 days time, when the family are all together again – children still completing exams (and Fiona her job) so it’s been an interesting year.

Dear Damian and Fiona Just read 12 of your sermons and am now in a state of catholic ecstacy. A remarkable legacy of considered faith. I have sent nos 2589 to Karl Oyston and expect a conversion by monday at the latest. We have 47 meat pies awaiting your collection. Also 32 gallons of coffee and 4 fishermans friends.
